What We Believe

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:  and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from where He shall come to judge the living and the dead.  We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins through the blood atonement, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

 

Christ Community Church seeks to provide a family atmosphere where people can come to know and establish a friendship with Jesus Christ and His people.  We seek to nurture each other's faith in Christ and provide a warm welcome for others to join Christ's family.

 

It is the vision of Christ Community Church to continue the work of Jesus

Guided by the Holy Spirit and God's Word, Christ Community Church is a fellowship of believers united for the common purpose of worshiping God and loving one another.  It is the privilege of each church member to reach out and minister to the spiritually lost and invite them into a relationship with Jesus Christ, encouraging all to be fruit-bearing disciples of the Living Lord.

 

We covenant with one another and bind ourselves in the presence of Almighty God to walk together in all His ways according to His rule as revealed to us in His Word, the Holy Bible; to sincerely conform to the ordinances of God; to mutually love and respect each other; and to support the Christian Church through Christ Community Church of Allegan--as far as God shall give us grace.
